Here is what we have been up to for the past few months:

Hanging out with my dear family in Dallas Texas. We went there for Christmas and had a blast. In fact, we loved it so much we're going back...to stay for a while! :) This is a statue of Coach Tom Landry the first Dallas Cowboys coach (apparently).

Finding favorite pictures. I found this picture in the John F. Kennedy Museum in Dallas and got teary eyed. You're not allowed to take pictures in the museum, but I had to sneak this one because I love it so much. Isn't it sweet?

Seeing the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. This is Dax's heaven. He thinks we are getting season tickets to them. Maybe when we are rich seeing as how they are only a whopping 5,000 plus per person...yeah. Maybe we will stick to one game this year and save up for season tickets next year!

Standing right by where John F. Kennedy was shot. Pretty touching.

Watching 2 beautiful niece's get baptized. We are so proud of them! (Sorry, I don't have a picture of Faithy's baptism) We love Zoee and Faithy!

Welcoming an ADORABLE new nephew into the world. Welcome to our family Jones!! We absolutely love you and think you are the cutest baby we have ever seen!

Meeting Tony Romo.......................okay, actually we just met his locker. But it's still pretty cool! Maybe we will meet him someday while we are at a Cowboys game!

Enjoying WSU football games with our sweet Easton. He LOVES LOVES LOVES Football!! He and Dax are Cowboy's fans. We are hoping they will come to a game with us this year! We love you Easton! And man, don't those two boys look SMOKIN' with purple hair!?! Not many people can pull that off, but these two do it with absolutely no problem. Such handsome boys.

Hanging out with our family at The Boondocks! Ha ha, I love this picture. Maggie LOVES her uncle "Dac". She loves her Aunt "Kelkee" too, but nobody steals her heart like her uncle Dax. She could have stayed on Dax's lap all night long. This is her "cheese"! LOVE HER.

TEXAS HERE WE COME!!!

So, I used to have a blog once...it was updated quite frequently. But then I decided to get rid of it. But since Dax and I have decided to move to Texas, I decided to start another blog so that people can just keep up and see where we are and how we are doing.

Dax and I are both graduating in exactly 29 days!! WOOO HOOO!!!! Ha ha. We are both very excited. Dax will have his Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration with an emphasis in hospital care, and I will have my Bachelor's Degree in English/Zoology. Quite random, I know. But I am an English nerd. We leave for Texas on May 6th.

One night we were talking about our future and what we are going to do after we graduate (which we do quite often) and it just came up that we thought it would be such a good experience to move out of state. Dax wants to get his Master's Degree in Business Administration and I want to go on and do a Dental Hygiene program. Dax has always wanted to move out of state and I of course, have a big draw in Texas with my family living there. Needless to say, we started talking about Texas and Dax started looking at schools and that is where our destiny is I guess.

We are both really excited and scared a little, but I think we are more calm knowing my family is there. They have been great talking to people and trying to help us find jobs. A dentist in my mom's ward is going to interview me and hopefully offer me a job and Dax is still on the search. He has applied for a police officer job (which I'm not thrilled about) and my parents are still networking in their ward to see if someone there needs a health care administrator assistant or anything like that. There are quite a few doctors in my mom's ward, in fact, my little brother is dating a girl whose father is a doctor. So, we are hoping someone will offer him a job, and I'm REALLY hoping someone offers him a job because I am not happy about the cop future FBI or SWAT dream my dear husband seems to be following.

Anyway, that is kinda a long update, but I thought everyone would probably want a way to keep up with us. I promise to post pictures and update my blog at least once a week. We are so blessed to have such great opportunities in our lives. Everything is just kinda falling into place and I think for now, we'll just hold on and enjoy the ride. We are so lucky to have two of the most amazing families in the world. They have all been so supportive and loving and I want them to know how much we love them. I am going to miss Dax's family, but I have made a promise to my Nephew that we will come visit as much as possible and I will keep my promise. Our door is always open to anyone who would like to come to Dallas Texas!
